orange is received zaps (now in sats), purple is sent.
They are circular if you have sent more. Received starts to turn into a polygon if you are hording (sats). If you have received more than twice the amount of zaps (sats) that you have sent, then you are a square.
This, unlike polygonal zap count visualizer actually provides a measurement of sats recieved, I invite you to compare it the polygonal zap count visualizer
